Gloria Zhu
Hi! I'm a Masters student at MIT ('27) studying computer science. I recently graduated
from my undergrad at the 'tute, during which I studied design alongside CS and read a bunch of books about media theory.
I believe technology should work for us, and I want to use my technical and creative background to
make things for and with other people.
When I'm not at my laptop or in a makerspace, I can be found drawing, writing, or playing indie video games!

On campus, I'm a graduate researcher at the Improbable AI Lab, a mentor at our community makerspace, and a blogger for MIT Admissions.
I was previously the design director of MIT Gala, our undergrad fashion and design collective, for which I got to make posters, merch, mini websites,
and interactive projections for three years :). Some other things I was involved in include Figma Campus Leaders, research at the MIT Media Lab,
and Arts@MIT.
