Along with two team members, we designed and tested a 100-lb robot for participation in the FIRST Robotics Competition, an international high school and college-level robotics competition. Specifically, I led development on the intake and hopper subsystems: I CADed, machined, and assembled wood prototypes, designed parts (aluminum mounts and gearbox plates) with ease of manufacturing in mind, iterated based on testing feedback, and integrated the hopper frame with other subsystems.
